Name: Northfields station
Date: 1932
Architect: Charles Holden
Lines: Piccadilly
Borough: Ealing
Listing: Grade II
Notes: The present Northfields station was built to replace an earlier station which was demolished in order to build the neighbouring train depot. For the slightly awkward site on top of the railway bridge, Charles Holden used his brick box design, turned 90 degrees, with the smaller side as the entrance. Inside the ticket hall has a coffered concrete ceiling, and roundels in coloured glass as decoration.
