Name: Hounslow West Station
Date: 1931
Lines: Piccadilly
Architect: Charles Holden and Stanley Heaps
Borough: Hounslow

Notes: A heptagonal shaped station opened on 5th July 1931 as part of the westwards Piccadilly Line extension. It was designed by Charles Holden, with a Portland Stone facade, and the interior features a bronze chandelier and cream dm pink tilework by Basil Ionides.  The 1970s extension of the line to Heathrow meant that the platforms were upgraded with a new connecting footbridge added.
