Notes: Ealing Common underground station was opened on March 1st 1931, replacing the previous station from 1879. The design shows the influence of Charles Holden first stations for the underground, on the Morden branch of the Northern Line. Instead of those stations three section  Portland Stone facade, Holden here uses a heptagonal plan. The interior is decorated with floor tiling in the form of a star and the platforms are home to Stanley Heaps concrete canopy shelters.
