Notes: The centre of Watford underwent a transformation from the mid-1960s with the town centre pedestrianised and a new shopping centre built. As part of this modernisation, a number of car parks were constructed. Designed by Williams and Sage of the Borough Engineers Dept, car parks in Rosslyn Road, Exchange Road and Estcourt Road all feature helix spiral ramps and rugged concrete construction. The car park in Exchange Road opposite St. Mary’s Church, also has a patterned concrete wall.
