Notes: Estate in Roehampton, designed by the young turks of the London County Council Architects Department under Colin Lucas, including Howell, Killick, Partridge and Amis, who would go in to partnership together.
The West estate provided a brutalist counterpoint to the slightly earlier East section, designed in the Scandinavian modernist style. The library and Allbrook House were built slightly later in 1961. Unlike the much of the estate they are not listed and due to be redeveloped.
