Notes: Civic centre originally built for Wood Green Borough Council, and home to Haringey post-1965. The firm of Sir John Brown A.E. Henson & Partners, won a competition for its design with a  design that was influenced by Scandinavian modernism, in particular Arne Jacobsen's work in Denmark. The building is constructed of brick and Portland stone around a reinforced concrete frame, and has generous glazing throughout. Currently being refurbished.
