Architect: George Coles
Borough: Hertfordshire

Notes: Former cinema in central Watford designed by George Coles. This building replaced an earlier cinema, and bears some resemblance to Coles’ design for the Gaumont Kilburn with its central tower and vertical emphasis. The interior was designed by Theodore Komisarjevsky, and at its height held nearly 1300 cinema goers but only lasted as a cinema until 1968.
