Name: Morden Station
Year: 1926
Architect: Charles Holden
Borough: Merton
Listing:
Notes: The terminus of the 1926 extension that saw Cahrles Holden design his first group of stations for what would become London Transport. Nowadays the entrance is overwhelmed by a 1960s office building, but still just about maintains the same moderne poise as the other extension stations. The ticket hall is sparsely decorated with a circular metal light fitting and white washed walls.
