Notes: Grand cinema building, which opened as Granada Tooting on 7th September 1931. The interior, by Theodore Komisarjevsky, is designed in a medieval Gothic style, with extensive wooden fittings. Ian Nairn famously said of the cinema "miss the Tower of London if you have to, but don't miss this”.
