Notes:Civic complex featuring a circular library building and a rectangular swimming baths. Begun in 1958, the project took ten years to reach completion, with the complex being opened on 20th March 1968. It was designed by Frederick Gibberd and Partners along with Ilford Borough architect H.C. Connell. The library roof is formed of a concrete shell lantern finished in copper, and has arched windows letting light into the reading area
