Picture
Name: Eastcote Station
Date: 1939
Architect: Charles Holden
Lines: Piccadilly, Metropolitan
Borough: Hillingdon
Listing: Grade II
Notes: Eastcote opened in 1939, a simple Holden design for the suburb of Eastcote. The brick box ticket hall is flanked by two curving shopping kiosks, which both feature flag poles with Underground roundels at the bottom, a simple but effective ploy to remind the inhabitants that the underground had arrived in their part of suburbia.
