Notes: A gigantic apartment complex designed by George Kay Green. Reputedly the largest privately owned apartment block in Europe when completed in 1937, Du Cane Court is formed of interlocking ranges, built in red brick around a steel frame, with reinforced concrete floors. The exterior design is relatively subdued, with curved balconies on the end of the ranges facing the road and deco style signs on entrance piers.
