Name: Chiswick Park Station
Date: 1933
Architect: Charles Holden

Notes: The first of Charles Holden’s circular station designs, Chiswick Park has a semicircular drum ticket hall sitting on a curved brick base, with a shopping parade at street level. A brick tower with the underground logo is there to ensure potential passengers do not miss it. After Holdem produced the italplan, the design was taken over by London Transports own chief architect Stanley Heaps, who finished the scheme, including his trademark curved concrete shelters at platform level.
