Notes: Estate in Tottenham consisting of 12 buildings connected by walkways, in a mix of high and low rise designed to house between 3,000-4,00 people. The architectural centrepieces are; Tangmere, a six storey ziggurat, combining shops and homes, with angled balconies, and a curved boiler house. Following the riots of 1985, a regeneration plan was implemented and the estate was refurbished. In recent years parts f the state have been demolished and replaced by new housing, including Tangmere and the boiler house.
