Name: Belsize Deep Level Shelter
Date: 1942
Architect:
Borough: Camden

Notes: Like the Ruislip ARP Building, this wartime civilian building shows a modernist influence in its design. The shelter was used as protection against Luftwaffe bombing raids and V1 and V2 rocket attacks. After the war it was used for document storage. A 3D plan of a typical deep level shelter can be seen here.
