Notes: Designed in Gibbons’ Gothic Revival style, the exterior of this church is plain, being built in stock brick with a tower featuring an octagonal bell turret. Inside, it has a simple lime render finish, with the nave vault ceiling in blue and gold. Behind the altar is a mural by Hans Feibusch, depicting the Ascension. It contains stained glass by Leonard Walker, W.T. Carter Shapland and G.E.R. Smith.
