Numbers 1-6 in this Stanmore street were designed by Gerald Lacoste (1909–1983) and built in 1937. This street, which along with Valencia Avenue is part of the Kerry Avenue Conservation Area, was built in the International style. No.14 (middle) was built in 1937 by the architect Reginald Uren for himself. No.16 (bottom) is a post war house designed by Gerd Kaufmann.
