Name: Taymount Grange, Forest Hill
Date: 1935

Architect: G.B. Carter

Borough: Lewisham

Notes: A modernist apartment block built on the site formerly home to Taymount, a Victorian mansion and later the clubhouse for the Queen's Tennis Club. The new building was designed by George Bertram Carter, a former assistant to Edwin Lutyens. It is set in a T-plan, with the block arranged to give apartments views to the south, as South London slopes away into Kent.
