Name: 59-63 Princes Gate
Date: 1937
Architect: Adie Button and Partners
Borough: Kensington and Chelsea

Notes: Standing opposite the Natural History Museum and Imperial College, a bold, moderne apartment block designed by the firm of Adie, Button and Partners. The building is laid out in an L-Plan with the facade flush to the street and a terraced garden area behind. Despite its 10 storey height, the building has a pronounced vertical emphasis, thanks to the exterior decorative bands and rectangular balconies.
