Notes:
Housing estate on Trafalgar Road in Greenwich, designed for the GLC by James Gowan. The scheme is formed of four storey maisonettes arranged around a courtyard in tough red brick, a look echoing Gowan’s work with James Stirling (the partnership won the commission and Gowan took it on after it dissolved. Both this estate and one in Creek Road also designed by Gowan have had pitched roofs added.
