Other Buildings

Not all the modernist buildings in Metro-Land fit into the categories we have used on this site. There are Libraries, Town Halls, Health Centres, Fire Stations and many other types of buildings that show the modernist tendency of the era. Famous architects such as Erno Goldfinger and Owen Williams, as well as more obscure artists, created forward looking and functional buildings on the relatively blank canvas of the expanding Metro-Land towns.
