Name: Oakwood Station
Date: 1933
Architect: Charles Holden and CH James
Lines: Piccadilly
Borough: Enfield
Listing: Grade II*
Notes: Initially called Enfield West, then Enfield West (Oakwood), before being renamed Oakwood in 1946. The station is another CH James design, this time a simple Sudbury box design, reminiscent of Acton Town, with the difference of the larger canopy at the front. Stanley Heaps designed the cantilevered concrete platform canopies with central rooflights.
