Belsize Deep Level Shelter
1942
Like the Ruislip ARP Building, this wartime civilian building shows a modernist influence in its design. The shelter was used as protection against Luftwaffe bombing raids and V1 and 2 rocket attacks. After the war it was used for document storage.
